We produce crystal glass nail files as standardized production in three different sizes:
- small files – length 90 mm, width 10 mm, thickness 2 mm
- medium files – length 135 mm, width 11.5 mm, thickness 2 mm or 3 mm
- large files – length 195 mm, thickness 3 mm, width 18 mm or thickness 4 mm, width 22 mm

Technology of production of crystal glass nail files
The first production step is production of the grinding surface. Roughing is achieved by chemical etching (acid engraving, action of a mixture of acids onto the glass surface). The production technology is a modification of the process of glass etching that has been used in glass industry for centuries. Grinding elements are formed right out of the glass body, which contradistinguishes the crystal glass nail files significantly from any other files. Other types of files usually have the grinding grains attached to a base; in the course of time the grains tend to fall off and the file blunts. This never happens with the crystal glass nail files. At the same time due to the production by chemical reaction very evenly roughened and sharp abrasive surfaces are obtained, which gives to the grinding surface of crystal glass nail files its outstanding grinding qualities. After production of the abrasive surface cutting of the shape of the glass nail file follows. Cutting of crystal glass nail files is carried out by the traditional hand grinding. Next step is chemical hardening, where the crystal glass nail files are subjected to action of melted potassium nitrate under high temperatures. During hardening process the sodium ions in surface layers of glass are exchanged for potassium ions, the process increases the surface tension and overall firmness and mechanical resistance of the crystal glass nail files.
Subsequently sorting and quality control are carried out; thereby the process of production of the plain crystal glass nail files is finished. According to the requests of customers most part of the production of crystal glass nail files is further decorated with some of the decoration techniques we offer.
